Data Centre Facilities Specialist

\

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Facilities Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the data centre's physical infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

\

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience working with building and/or electrical platform management systems. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

\

This is a challenging role that requires a high degree of technical expertise, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Monitor and maintain the data centre's physical infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems\
  • Ensure optimal performance and availability of the data centre\
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed\
  • Participate in regular maintenance and upgrades of the data centre's equipment and systems\
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner\

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering\
  • Experience working with building and/or electrical platform management systems\
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal\
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\
  • High degree of technical expertise and problem-solving skills\
