About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a customer-focused insurance professional. As a Dispute Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of complaints and dispute resolution for all General Insurance products.
The successful candidate will assess, investigate, and critically analyze policies, legislation, and expert evidence to provide fair and reasonable outcomes for customers. You will engage with customers and internal external stakeholders while providing technical support and advice to claims and underwriting areas.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake timely and accurate responses to all complaints and disputes.
  2. Proactively identify systemic causes of customer dissatisfaction and contribute to the development of solutions.
  3. Manage internal and external business stakeholders relationships.
  4. Provide SME support for internal stakeholder enquiries in relation to decisions, General Insurance Code of Practice, and the Insurance Contracts Act.
  5. Ensure organizational obligations under the law and the General Insurance Code of Practice are adhered to when managing complaints and disputes.
  6. Prepare recommendations on process, product, and service improvements to minimize recurrence or mitigation of issues.

About You
We are looking for a confident, solution-focused individual who has a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A strong general insurance or legal background.
  • A solid understanding of risk, compliance, and policy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
