Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver meals to patients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist in the preparation of meals, including food assembly and tray line operations
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
  • Deliver and collect meals, trays, and utensils to and from patient areas
  • Strip, sort, sanitize, and clean all trays, cutlery, and utensils
  • Complete all food safety documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Previous experience in food services, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Clear understanding of food safety guidelines and protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, with the ability to learn and apply computer-based menu management systems
