Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to engage in regular visits with an elderly client. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in someone's life and bring joy to those who may be feeling isolated.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain regular contact with the client, visiting them on a weekly or fortnightly basis
  • Engage in conversation and share stories to foster a sense of connection and understanding
  • Bring companionship and support to the client, helping to improve their quality of life

This role can be a rewarding experience for both the client and the volunteer, offering opportunities for personal growth and development.

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • National Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
  • Working with Vulnerable People check required

We would be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday.
