The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to act as a communication bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of business cases by clearly articulating the scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document and understand the current data architecture, including data sources, data flows, integrations, and storage systems.
  • Create data models, workflow diagrams, and process maps to illustrate requirements and processes.
  • Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and engineers to design the target data model on Azure Databricks, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and addressing business requirements.
  • Support risk and issue management by proactively identifying, reporting, and resolving risks and issues.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a related role with a strong focus on data architecture.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, ETL processes, data governance, data quality, privacy, and security controls.
  • Experience working in a large, complex technology environment and dealing with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian Superannuation and Retirement industry, business, and systems.
