Role Summary

A Senior Maintenance Engineer is required to provide expert maintenance, reliability and CMMS engineering services for a pivotal oil and gas project.

This is an opportunity to utilize your skills in maintenance strategy development, material master data management and equipment criticality analysis to optimize asset reliability.

As a technical leader, you will be responsible for providing technical support and leadership to operational and maintenance teams, fostering open communication on safety, production, cost, and improvement ideas.

Responsibilities and Challenges
  • Develop and optimize maintenance strategies in line with performance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate maintenance and material master data in compliance with client guidelines.
  • Identify critical spares, manage SPIR levels, and ensure optimal asset reliability.
  • Perform equipment criticality analysis and develop/update maintenance work instructions.
  • Review engineering specifications, modify designs to enhance plant reliability, and manage projects within schedule.
Requirements
  • Recognized engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Eligible for Engineers Australia membership.
  • Substantial experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Expertise in SAP, FMECA, RCA, RCM, process safety, and international standards.
  • Strong data management, maintenance strategy, and master data creation/updation skills in CMMS.
  • Extensive years of experience in maintenance strategy, ops readiness, and maintenance/reliability engineering.
