Defence Project Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a procurement professional to support a defence project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement activities for resources, hardware and software from established panel arrangements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft requirements, prepare RFQ/RFT document packs, obtain necessary approvals prior to approaching the market, manage questions from industry, manage evaluation/selection processes, through to issue of work orders/contracts and purchase orders.
  • Provide procurement and contract management advice and assistance to project teams, ensuring a defensible audit trail is maintained on all procurement activities.
  • Develop annual plans for procurement of resources, hardware and software for the defence project, taking into account location and timelines for requirements, supply and delivery timelines, and general market conditions.
  • Develop and/or assist in the development of team tools, guides and templates as required.
  • Assist with task coordination, communication and maintaining dashboards or similar artefacts to support briefing, decision making and record keeping.

Australian citizens with the ability to obtain NV1 security clearance will be considered for this role. Already having an NV1 clearance is preferred.
