Production Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Lead to join our team. As a key member of the production unit, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and rebuild of radiators and cooling components for heavy mining equipment.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be expected to lead a small team and ensure the smooth operation of all production activities. This includes planning, quality control, and technical work.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who is able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of production staff.
  • Oversee the repair and rebuild of radiators and cooling components for heavy mining equipment.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all production activities, including planning, quality control, and technical work.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • A mechanical trade qualification (fitter, mechanic, boilermaker or similar).
  • Leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
