About the Role
You will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping risk strategy, empowering enterprise-wide enablement, and driving meaningful impact for millions of Australians.
- Lead the enhancement of risk frameworks across technology, transformation, and operations by fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Partner closely with senior executives to embed strong risk practices and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and our risk appetite.
- Develop and execute a forward-thinking risk management strategy across technology, transformation, and operations, driving business growth while mitigating risks.
- Influence and collaborate with senior executives to embed risk into strategic decision-making and business planning, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership in risk enablement, aligning strategy with our enterprise goals and future direction, while promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Deliver high-level risk advice on transformative initiatives such as cloud adoption, digital innovation, and operating model evolution, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Design and implement enterprise-wide risk frameworks and tools aligned with APRA standards, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
- Monitor emerging risks and performance indicators to inform executive reporting and strategic response, enabling data-driven decision making.
Your Qualifications
- A strategic and influential leader with deep expertise in risk management across technology and operations, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bring a forward-thinking mindset, strong commercial insight, and a collaborative leadership style that inspires confidence and drives results, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
- Extensive experience in risk management within financial services, ideally superannuation, with a proven track record of delivering results and improving business outcomes.
