About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Consultant to join our team in Newcastle on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity will see you play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales and support initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound calls and email enquiries from commercial and domestic customers, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Proactively engage with existing customers via outbound calls to promote products and services, fostering strong relationships and converting enquiries into sales opportunities.
  • Schedule appointments for residential customers, streamlining the process and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, guaranteeing up-to-date information while adhering to compliance standards.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of experience working in customer-facing or call centre environments is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in phone sales and converting enquires into sales.
  • Proficiency in multiple database systems and email programs, with experience in word processing and spreadsheet packages being desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, multitasking effectively and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
