About the Job

We are seeking a Trades Assistant to support our maintenance team across various projects. This role will involve hands-on tasks that require minimal supervision, supporting our tradespeople with equipment maintenance.

This position also offers opportunities for career development and advancement in the trade sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rust repairs, surface preparation, and painting
  • Maintenance tasks including washing and preparing equipment
  • Operating machinery to assist with tasks
  • Supporting tradespeople with maintenance duties
  • General housekeeping duties in the workshop and yard
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an industrial setting (preferably with mobile plant or heavy industry)
  • RII: Integrated Tool Carrier certification
  • HRW: Dogger/Rigger qualification
  • Panel beating or basic welding skills
  • Experience with earthmoving tyre fitting
