Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Director with a mechanical or civil engineering background to lead the delivery of small or large-scale, multi-discipline projects within an EPCM environment.

About the Role:

  • Full lifecycle project management from feasibility and FEED through to execution and commissioning
  • Interpret technical information and integrate efforts alongside broader engineering coordination
  • Managing project scope, cost, schedule, and risk in alignment with EPCM delivery models
  • Overseeing contractor performance, procurement packages, and construction interfaces
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, EPCM partners, and client representatives
  • Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience delivering mining or mineral processing projects (preferably coal) within an EPCM framework
  • Proven leadership in multidisciplinary project teams, with strong stakeholder and contractor management
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Aconex)
  • EPCM experience in the mining industry is essential
