Senior Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to lead our Geo-Environmental Engineering team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading technical teams and building strong relationships with clients across Australia.

This role offers opportunities to develop innovative solutions for geo-environmental challenges, integrate waste management into broader infrastructure projects, and ensure technical excellence in waste and geo-environmental engineering.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To strategize and deliver projects in the civil infrastructure, waste, water infrastructure, and mining sectors, focusing on:
  1. Waste management, including landfill design, engineered containment systems, geosynthetic applications, and resource recovery solutions
  2. Water infrastructure, including dam engineering, earth structures, and repair works, and wastewater management ponds
  3. Mining, including tailings management facilities and complex liner systems
  4. Ground engineering, including slope stabilization and rehabilitation
To integrate waste management into broader infrastructure projects and ensure technical excellence in waste and geo-environmental engineeringTo provide expert advice on subsurface environmental risks, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering
  • More than 7 years of industry experience, particularly in waste and geo-environmental engineering
  • Expertise in waste management, subsurface environmental risks, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management
  • Excellent communication skills and experience engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Leadership, decision-making, and mentoring skills to support junior engineers
