About the Role

As a leader in finance, you will spearhead a high-performing team in Sydney and collaborate globally to ensure accurate reporting, robust controls, and successful strategic initiatives. This position partners closely with senior executives, delivering on statutory reporting, financial insight, risk management, and transformation projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Oversee global month-end close processes, consolidations (IFRS/ASX), and group reporting.
  • Maintain and improve internal control frameworks and compliance programs.
  • Drive working capital efficiency, cashflow forecasting, and process improvement.
  • Prepare half-year and annual consolidated financial statements, managing statutory and regulatory compliance across all entities.
  • Manage external audits, tax, and treasury activities.
  • Provide commercial insights and business partnering with senior leaders.
  • Support M&A, digital transformation, and ESG reporting initiatives.
  • Act as a key contact for auditors, banks, and regulatory stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Prior experience in a multinational corporate or large audit environment is essential.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing statutory audits, internal controls, and compliance is necessary.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams are crucial.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across geographies are vital.
  • Exposure to treasury, tax, and global operations is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial transformation projects is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability disclosures is advantageous.
