">About the Role:
The Director of Academic Programs will oversee the development and delivery of Humanities programs across the Secondary College. This role involves providing leadership to develop engaging Humanities programs for students, planning, delivering, and assessing teaching programs in line with Australian Professional Standards and QLD curriculum frameworks.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Humanities programs that align with the college's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching programs.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Promote a culture of excellence in teaching and learning within the Humanities department.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Current QLD Teacher's Registration.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in Humanities subjects.
