About the Opportunity

We invite applications for multiple positions to contribute to exciting projects in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and algorithms. Successful candidates will join vibrant teams working on core AI research through the ANU Integrated AI Network.


Research Streams:
  1. Bayesian Machine Learning – Led by Dr Thang Bui, focusing on sequential decision-making and bridging deep learning theory and practice.
  2. Interpretable Machine Learning for Natural Language – Led by Prof Lexing Xie, applying machine learning to climate, health and environmental challenges.
  3. Computational Analysis of Online Economies – Led by Prof Lexing Xie and Dr Yun Kuen Cheung, exploring digital markets and social platforms using ML and computational economics.
