Senior Technical Lead

The Senior Technical Lead is a key role that requires technical strength, leadership skills, and a focus on developing the skills of their team members.

This position will be responsible for leading a distributed team of engineers and its MLOps/Analytics portfolio. This includes organizing and leading the team's processes to help it achieve its objectives, conducting one-on-one meetings with team members, identifying and measuring team health indicators, interacting with a vibrant community, reviewing code produced by other engineers, attending conferences to represent and its MLOps solutions, mentoring and growing your direct reports, and working from home with global travel for 2-4 weeks per year for internal and external events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a distributed team of engineers and its MLOPs/Analytics portfolio
  • Organize and lead the team's processes in order to help it achieve its objectives
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members
  • Identify and measure team performance indicators
  • Engage with a diverse community
  • Review code submissions from team members
  • Presentation at industry conferences to promote and
  • Mentor and develop direct reports to enhance their careers
Requirements
  • A strong track record of professional experience in software delivery
  • Proficient Python development experience, preferably with open-source projects
  • Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, challenges, and opportunities
  • Experience designing and implementing MLOps solutions
  • Distinguished academic background from both high school and university
Addtional Skills
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries or tools
  • Proven track record of building highly automated machine learning solutions for cloud platforms
  • Experience with machine learning model development
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of Linux and open-source software ecosystems
  • Understanding of cloud computing principles
  • Passion for software quality and testing
