Job DescriptionWe are seeking a driven and solution-oriented Career Opportunities Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping people living with disability, illness, injury, or employment barriers find sustainable employment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of empathy and compassion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure. If you have a background in customer service, sales, retail, call centres, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration, you may be well-suited for this role.
Responsibilities- Develop strong relationships with participants to understand their needs, interests, skills, and experience.
- Assist participants with resume development, job applications, and interview preparation.
- Identify and assess barriers to employment and create solutions to support participants at work and beyond.
- Create job plans with participants to support clear pathways into sustainable employment.
- Increase participant employability through training and other support services.
- Sources employment opportunities through networking and sales strategies.
- BUILD and maintain relationships with potential employers and community organisations.
- Hold full Australian working rights.
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Check.
- Be able to pass a Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrate the WISE attributes: Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity, and a Growth Mindset.
- Able to speak Arabic is desired but not essential.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and autonomously.
