Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to advance their career in occupational rehabilitation. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be working with clients who have suffered physical or psychological injuries, providing support and guidance to help them return to work.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing a portfolio of clients and identifying barriers preventing them from returning to work. You will also be responsible for organizing appropriate intervention with stakeholders, writing return-to-work plans, and facilitating a safe and timely graduated return to work.

About the Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients with physical or psychological injuries
  • Identifying barriers preventing clients from returning to work
  • Organizing appropriate intervention with stakeholders
  • Writing return-to-work plans
  • Attending medical appointments with clients
  • Completing reports after assessments and meetings
  • Communicating with medical professionals regarding diagnosis and treatment
  • Facilitating a safe and timely graduated return to work
  • Documenting case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements


About You

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse with general registration with AHPRA. You will also need to have a car and a valid driver's license. A police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement is also required.
