About the Role
This role is an opportunity to deliver exceptional HR support and make a real impact across a dynamic organization.
The job involves providing consistent and effective service to enable managers and human resources to succeed. As the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you will be responsible for providing quality customer-focused services to internal and external customers.
You will develop strong relationships with multiple functions across the organization, including the global HR operations team, workday administration, payroll, IT, managers, and employees. This position uses IT system tools to record, track, and manage HR support relating to the day-to-day operation of the HR function.
The key responsibilities of this role include applying HR knowledge and skills to resolve customer queries in a prompt and professional manner. You will also escalate queries where appropriate to Workday specialists, regional HR operations teams, centres of expertise, or strategic HR business partners.
In addition, you will actively support and execute compliance in the HRIS by onboarding new employees, processing change management, assisting with troubleshooting errors, and navigating HRIS use. You will maintain knowledge of HR policies and procedures and collaborate with the broader HR operations teams.
To be successful in this role, you will have 2+ years of experience provided HR operations/shared services support to employees. You will also have knowledge of Fair Work and the National Employee Standards, as well as HRIS experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint - is also required.
Job Requirements
Provide HR support and advice to employees and managers.
Process HR-related transactions and tasks.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives.
Develop and maintain HR documentation and processes.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
