Job Title: Texture Artist
Job Summary:
Industrial Light & Magic is seeking a skilled Texture Artist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for executing the desired look of complex CG models, including creatures, hard surface models, and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve the desired visual effects.
- Develop and implement texture designs for various models and environments.
- Mentor junior artists and provide feedback to ensure high-quality work.
- Meet deadlines and maintain a consistent level of productivity.
Requirements:
- At least three years of relevant professional VFX experience and a college-level diploma or higher in computer graphics, fine arts, design, or photography.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Maya, Mari, Zbrush, Photoshop, and UV unwrapping tools.
- Ability to navigate complex pipelines and learn quickly.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Modeling skills and knowledge of Katana/Look Dev.
