Job Summary:
Industrial Light & Magic is seeking a skilled Texture Artist to join our Sydney studio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing the desired look of complex CG models, including creatures and hard surface models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with production teams to achieve advanced-level texture execution.
- Participate in design solution determination and provide feedback to team members.
- Mentor junior and mid-level artists.
- Meet productivity and quality standards while meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
- At least three years of VFX experience and a college-level diploma or higher in computer graphics, fine arts, design, or photography.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in painting, illustration, or design.
- Familiarity with film production and computer graphics.
- Proficiency in Maya, Mari, Zbrush, Photoshop, and UV unwrapping tools.
- Ability to navigate complex pipelines and learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Modeling skills and Katana/Look Dev knowledge.
