About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Blacktown. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort during challenging times.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions, requiring specialized support and attention.

Requirements
  • You must be a compassionate and empathetic individual who is passionate about assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  • You will need a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential part of this role.
  • You should be able to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help from your Manager.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
