The role of a Speech Pathologist is to provide professional and clinical care to patients with communication disorders. This involves assessing the patient's condition, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and implement speech pathology intervention strategies for caseloads using various service delivery models
- Evaluate the effectiveness of speech pathology programs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Participate as an active member in multi-disciplinary team activities
- Maintain and upgrade professional skills
- Degree in Speech Pathology
- Member of Speech Pathology Australia
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Current police clearance, WA Working with Children Check, and NDIS worker check
- Full Australian working rights
