The RoleWe would love to welcome a new Speechie to our team, working out of our clinic in Midland, with flexible onboarding options.
This role offers an opportunity to provide clinic, home and school-based services to both private clients and NDIS participants. We want to work with you to build a caseload which is tailored to your skills and areas of interests.
What You Can Expect· Work autonomously and flexibly, structuring your days in a way that works for you.
· Work with a manageable caseload that is tailored to you.
· Potential caseload may include: working with people with speech and language delays/disorders, providing neuroaffirming social communication therapy, early intervention, literacy intervention and work with either children, teenagers or young adults Additional opportunity to work with AAC, complex communication and swallowing as well if these are interest area's for you.
· Opportunity to earn additional commission on top of your salary.
· Access to a fully equipped practice, complete with brand-new standardised assessment tools, therapy programs, and a vast selection of toys and games for speech, language, and literacy development – with new additions regularly.
· Key responsibilities include:
o Providing language, speech, and literacy-based interventions.
o Delivering neurodiversity affirming services, to the clients you support.
o Offering upskilling and education for parents, teachers and educational assistants as needed.
o Attending meetings, supervision, and personal development sessions (as required).

About You· Skills and Experience: You bring knowledge and expertise in providing speech pathology assessments and intervention for a paediatric and/or young adult caseload (3-18 years).
· Personality: You are friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoy being an integral part of a team.
· Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with families, teachers, and other stakeholders.
· Experience: Knowledge in language, literacy, speech, and neurodiversity-affirming social skills interventions.
· Approach: Committed to strengths-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiverse-affirming approaches to both intervention and assessment.
Essential Criteria· Relevant tertiary qualification in speech pathology.
· Current Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership.
