The role of Senior IT Project Manager - SAP Expertise offers a unique opportunity to join our dynamic Project Delivery team on a permanent or contractual basis. This talent pool seeks skilled professionals who can contribute to the execution and delivery of SAP solutions projects across diverse industries.

As a key function, project management plays a pivotal role in executing and delivering SAP solutions projects. You will contribute to our practice business strategy and direction, ensuring objectives and business goals are met. With a wealth of experience in successfully delivering IT projects in SME environments, you will present a robust profile.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage the execution of single and multi-disciplinary SAP projects, including project planning, tracking, and oversight to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • To prepare and monitor installation schedules and timelines, resulting in on-time and on-budget delivery to customers.
  • Manage interaction with project consultants to ensure all customer expectations and agreed deliverables are met.
  • To oversee effective document control processes, including project hand-over, administration, documentation, customer support, and project closures.
  • Facilitate regular internal project progress reporting.
  • Liaise with BPOs regarding contractual requirements.
  • To communicate clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and improve project delivery processes and procedures in line with project methodologies.
Requirements and Expectations
  • Proven experience in project management, ideally with at least five years of delivering medium-scale, complex IT projects.
  • SAP experience is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large projects, performing project planning, tracking, and oversight to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Experience working with productivity tools that enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience with architecture, development, integration, and deployment techniques related to project phases.
  • Excellent communication, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills to interact with stakeholders on a technical and non-technical level.
  • Good human relations and leadership skills to train, guide, motivate, and mentor project personnel.

A competitive salary range for this position is AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Legal right to work in Australia is a prerequisite.
