People and Culture Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Development Specialist to join our team at Central Coast Council. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing employment and legislative advice, managing complex industrial relations actions, and developing collaborative working relationships with business units.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a degree qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a relevant field, as well as significant experience in a similar role working with diverse client groups in medium to large complex organizations. They will also possess extensive knowledge of award, industrial, and employment legislation, as well as demonstrated proficiency in providing technical expertise, coaching, and advice to staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide employment and legislative advice to business units
- Manage complex industrial relations actions through to resolution
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with business units
- Work closely with Senior Business Partners to develop and implement people and culture initiatives
- Degree qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or relevant field
- Significant experience in a similar role working with diverse client groups in medium to large complex organizations
- Extensive knowledge of award, industrial, and employment legislation
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing technical expertise, coaching, and advice to staff
- A competitive salary ranging from $99k to $119k per annum
