Cultural Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cultural Development Worker to join our Arts and Culture team at Central Coast Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in the local cultural community and work on exciting projects that build capacity and facilitate strong community connections.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver creative arts and cultural development strategies and programs that engage with the Coast's Creative Arts and Cultural Community.
- Provide quality customer service and create value for the community through your work.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, artists, and cultural organizations.
- Degree qualifications in Creative Arts, Cultural Development, or a relevant field, or extensive relevant and contemporary experience combined with ongoing professional development.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Sound experience working with people of different cultural backgrounds and age groups, and excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver results in a complex political environment.
- A competitive salary range of $85.8k - $92.2k plus 11.5% superannuation.
- A permanent full-time role with a 9 day fortnight.
- Hybrid and flexible working conditions, including 2 days work from home and 3 days on site.
