The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our cleaning operations on a full-time basis.

This is an opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic team, where you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work environment, as well as the chance to make a real difference to the residential aged care community.

The Role of the Cleaning Supervisor

The cleaning supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring all resources required for a hygienically clean, tidy and presentable environment are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Respect for all individuals, regardless of background, age, gender, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation
  • Ability to be well organized and work under pressure and timelines Ensure all cleaning requirements are met at each shift
  • Lead a team of cleaners to achieve exceptional results
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful and positive manner
  • Ensure the home is maintained to high standards
  • Adhere to safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents
What You Will Bring to the Role
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and equipment used in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Previous experience of working in aged care.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and schedules.
  • Experience in supervisory roles, training is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A positive attitude and compassionate approach to elderly residents.
  • Understanding and adherence to infection control practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
