Wastewater & Stormwater - Infrastructure Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Wastewater & Stormwater - Infrastructure Planning Specialist.
The successful candidate will have exceptional operational, project development and delivery skills and be able to drive organisational change and growth.
About the Role- This is a key position in our Sewer & Stormwater team, responsible for leading and managing capital projects within our community.
- You will investigate and plan wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects involving wastewater treatment plants and reticulation systems, as well as stormwater infrastructure, including reticulation and pumping systems.
- Your responsibilities will also include developing, implementing, and reviewing asset management plans to renew, upgrade, and expand stormwater and wastewater infrastructure.
- Investigate and plan wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment plants, reticulation systems, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and review asset management plans to renew, upgrade, and expand stormwater and wastewater infrastructure.
- Provide input into long-term strategies, such as the Integrated Water Cycle Management Plan, Strategic Business Plans, and Development Servicing Plans.
- Prepare analytical data and reports, including internal reports to management or Council, external reports to government agencies, and technical presentations for stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate consultants, teams, and contractors for specific projects.
- Implement best practice design principles and standards to identify innovative design solutions.
- Liaise with service delivery sections regarding best practice design, life cycle costs, and ability to build, maintain, and manage implemented designs.
- Review applications for new development/connections to wastewater and stormwater networks.
