Job Title: Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team at the Northern Territory Government. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation of financial reports, developing key performance indicators, and providing financial strategy and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate financial reports and forecasts into corporation-wide reporting
  • Develop key performance indicators and financial strategy
  • Provide financial management reporting to the Senior Manager Business Finance
  • Prepare complex financial statements and reports
  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in complex commercial environments
  • Proficiency in accounting software and report generation
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
  • Proven track record in enterprise valuation, corporate finance principles, and team management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline
  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant membership
