Job Opportunity: EHS Manager in Western Australia

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team in Western Australia. As an EHS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and managing our company's EHS Policy and Management System across our WA, SA & NT regions.

About the Role:

  1. Assist managers in developing and implementing strategies to enhance EHS performance, including regular site visits and monitoring compliance.
  2. Promote the incorporation of EHS into business planning and assist with establishing EHS as a key performance indicator.
  3. Ensure timely monthly reporting, including incident/accident analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Investigate and manage serious incidents or near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Identify risk and non-compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  6. Develop and implement regional and national EHS projects, processes and procedures.

About You:

  • Tertiary EHS-related qualifications and prior experience in the Environmental, Health & Safety sector is essential.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft suite of products.
  • Flexibility to travel intrastate and interstate, on an occasional basis.
