Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety professional to join our WA, SA & NT regions. The successful candidate will be based at our Welshpool office.

About the Role

Main responsibilities include:

  • Assisting managers to implement the company's EHS Policy and Management System.
  • Promoting incorporation of EHS into business planning and assisting with establishing EHS as a business and management performance measure.
  • Ensuring timely monthly reporting and conducting incident/accident analysis to identify trends and recommend strategies to management.
  • Investigating and managing serious incidents or near misses involving employees, contractors or members of the public.
  • Identifying risk and non-compliance issues that may have a significant impact on the business.
  • Involvement in the development and implementation of regional and/or national EHS projects, processes and procedures.
  • Generating and communicating relevant EHS documentation.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary EHS-related qualifications and prior experience in the Environmental Health & Safety sector.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products.
