The role of the Administrator and Media Officer is a key position within the organization, requiring strong administrative skills and excellent media management abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Executive Officer in general sports administration, including preparation for championship events, tournaments, and competitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the SACCSS Executive Officer in General Sports Administration
  • Media and Publications - Administration
  • Awards Afternoon

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with children, VIT registration, and experience with WordPress, Hytek Meet, and Team Manager software. They should also possess excellent digital media creation skills, including proficiency in Canva and Adobe Suite. A current driver's license is desirable but not essential.

This role may require additional days during major championships or as deemed necessary by the Executive Group. It is essential that the selected candidate has a clear understanding of Ministerial Order 1359 on Child Safety as it relates to the organization's Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and practice.

Key Qualifications:

  • Qualifications/experience in working with children
  • VIT registration
  • Experience with WordPress, Hytek Meet, and Team Manager software
  • Digital media creation skills using Canva and Adobe Suite
  • Current driver's license (desirable)
