Crane Operator Opportunity

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Key duties include:
  • Performing daily site crane inspections prior to start-up and recording all findings.
  • Coordinating with riggers and site supervisors using hand signals, radio communication, or written instructions.
  • Observing all rigging techniques before performing any lift to ensure the lifting is rigged correctly and has the capacity to perform the lift safely.
  • Assessing the weight of all loads and ensuring they are within crane capacity.
  • Operating cranes to install steel structures, heavy mechanical equipment, and construction or camp accommodation buildings.
  • Reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Requirements
  • A minimum of experience working within the mining, construction and resources industry.
  • HRWL – C1 or CO certification.
  • Construction White Card qualification.
  • Unlimited Australian working rights.
  • National Police clearance (12 months).
  • Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and a Drug / Alcohol Screen.
