Surf City Cranes, established in January 2006, is a premier mobile crane hire service in the Brisbane/Gold Coast/Northern NSW region. With a mission to provide exceptional service, we have grown to offer the best fleet of cranes, including modern telehandlers and heavy-duty 200T machines. Our extensive range of equipment is ideal for all types of projects, especially large construction sites, ensuring we can meet any jobsite needs. We are headquartered in Burleigh, QLD, and have depots in Belmont, Brisbane, and Northern Rivers of NSW to serve the South East Corner of Queensland.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Burleigh, QLD, for a Crane Operator. The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating various types of cranes, adhering to safety standards, performing daily equipment inspections, and ensuring smooth and efficient lifting operations. Other day-to-day tasks include precise load handling, coordination with site teams, and maintaining operational readiness of the crane at all times.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Lifting Operations, Heavy Equipment, and Lifting Equipment
  • Proficiency in Cranes operation and conducting Inspection
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Valid certification and licenses to operate cranes
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is beneficial
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
