Job Title: Medical Information Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Medical Information Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with medical staff, both onsite and off-site, answering enquiries, coordinating courier and medical centre collections, pathology results assistance and general administration duties.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess sound typing/data entry skills (approximately 50 wpm with 98% accuracy) and previous experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organisation, are essential. The successful candidate must be willing to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures, and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes.

Requirements

  • Sound typing/data entry skills (approximately 50 wpm with 98% accuracy)
  • Previous experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organisation
  • A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
  • Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
  • Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong customer focus and general office skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
