Job Title: Facilities Officer

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Facilities Officer to join our team. This is a casual pool opportunity that will provide the successful candidate with the chance to work across our Northern sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including interior and exterior maintenance of health units.
  • Operate a wide range of hand and power tools, including tractors and implements.
  • Assist with grounds maintenance, including gardening and watering systems.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to other employees, including on-the-job training.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in building and grounds maintenance.
  • Practical experience using a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, utilising initiative and judgement to ensure timely completion of tasks and activities.
  • Sound understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare acts relevant to a maintenance role.
