Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Director to lead our Security Sales team in the Australia and New Zealand region. As a key member of our Global Security Sales Organisation (GSSO), you will be responsible for driving significant growth of our security architecture and portfolio of technologies and services. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute a business plan that maximizes Cisco's Security revenues in the region.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, with experience in managing teams of 50+ people. You will possess excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to establish and maintain good relations with leadership teams, marketing, and other stakeholders. Your expertise in providing thought leadership, strategic thinking, and effective communication will be essential in influencing cross-functionally and driving business results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- 8+ years in management roles selling solutions to senior leaders at named accounts
- Demonstrated track record managing significant revenue responsibility and/or profit/loss center and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals
- Ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically, and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally
- Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals
