About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical professional to join our Healthcare sector team in Sydney as an Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing valuable insights and investment ideas for our clients.

Our team is intellectually curious, creative, and passionate about performing market research. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide them with actionable insights that help shape their investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide integral support to single stock or thematic research analysts
  • Build, maintain and update company forecasts and valuation models
  • Conduct market share, macro trend, and cross company and sub sector data analysis
  • Work closely with Content Management Group to ensure timely publication of research reports
  • Prepare and produce insightful company specific projects
  • Perform statistical analysis of economic data, fundamentals, and relevant correlations of the data
  • Listen to and produce briefing notes on companies
  • Update monthly reports, marketing books, and daily valuation sheets
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from clients, sales and traders
  • Attend client meetings with their senior analyst in Sydney (or other offices if possible)
Requirements
  • Bachelors in biology, medical degree or in finance/accounting, and CFA qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of banking/research experience covering healthcare sector stocks is preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Highly analytical thinker and writer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing situations is a must
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Demonstrable time management, prioritization skills desirable and exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and work under pressure
