Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed personal and business budget outcomes, including new sales initiation and conversion, as well as support client retention for Zenith, Chant West, and FE fundinfo's range of investment and super research solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients, generate leads, and market to our prospect database.
  • Sales Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new business product and service opportunities from existing and new accounts, develop sales plans, and execute agreed client sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Client Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales opportunities via our CRM system.
  • Industry Knowledge and Reputation: Develop and maintain a strong reputation in our target client segments, with relevant industry knowledge and strengthening long-term strategic relationships.

  • Professional Representation: Represent the organization in a professional manner, maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity in all dealings with clients, suppliers, and staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development manager role, with strong knowledge in investment management, financial data collection and management, investment structures, and portfolio construction.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience within a data analytics, FinTech, investment research, financial planning, or funds management organization.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Network and Reputation: A broad, current, and credible funds management relationship network, as well as platforms and paraplanning groups.
  • Sales Results: Proven sales results, with a strong reputation as a team player with demonstrable client relationship management skills.
