Job Title: Learn To Swim InstructorAbout This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate swimming instructor to join our team at the Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the community by teaching vital life skills.

You will ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants while providing high-quality instruction, working closely with the Aquatics Coordinator and Deck Supervisor to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and teaching excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver swimming lessons in accordance with the Swimsations Learn to Swim program.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all participants.
  • Develop positive relationships with students and their families.
  • Contribute to holiday intensive programs and student assessments.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
  • A genuine customer service focus and commitment to safety.
  • Personal integrity and ability to take responsibility.
  • A Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (training can be provided).
  • A current CPR Certificate (training can be provided).
  • An NSW Working with Children Check.
