Teaching Assistant - Swimming Lessons

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive learn to swim classes to children aged 6 months to 5 years, promoting water safety and confidence in the pool.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the swimming program, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students.
  • Work on Sundays and weekday afternoons, or Saturdays as required, fostering a supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Hold a SWIM Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Qualification or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in teaching swimming techniques and water safety skills.
  • Possess a SWIM Australia Teacher of Babies & Toddlers Extension or equivalent, showing ability to adapt instruction to different age groups and needs.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate with CPR, ensuring the highest level of care and support in case of emergencies.
  • Obtain a Working with Children Check, upholding the highest standards of child safety and well-being.
  • Maintain a valid Licence to work in Australia, guaranteeing compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
