Job Title: Level 2 Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network administration, including experience with routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and OSPF. They will also have experience with network monitoring tools such as PRTG and Fortinet logging/alerting tools (FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM).

In this role, the Level 2 Network Engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring and maintaining complex network topologies, including core/distribution/access layers. They will also be responsible for implementing, documenting and supporting FortiSwitches, HPE/Aruba switches and Cisco Meraki switches.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented mindset and strong communication skills. They will also have the ability to work independently on infrastructure or security projects with minimal supervision.

Additional requirements include:

  • 3+ years in an MSP/MSSP or complex enterprise environment
  • Industry certifications such as Expert-level Fortinet (NSE 4+) or CCNP/CCIE, Meraki Solutions Specialist (PCNSA/PCNSE desirable)
  • Strong experience with HPE switches, Cisco Meraki, or similar enterprise-grade switches
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and infrastructure architecture is a plus
