Job Description

As a Network Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative network architectures to support the growth of one of the world's largest and most complex networks.

The team provides mission-critical global connectivity for internal services and business applications, datacenter infrastructure equipment, and 1,000,000+ internal users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Next-Generation SDWAN/Edge Network: Use cloud-based technologies such as AWS CloudWAN, Transit Gateway, NAT gateways, ANF, DX Gateways, Lambda, and other virtual gateways to serve 500+ remote offices.
  • Automate Deployment of Network Devices and Gateways: Utilize infrastructure as code across all network fabrics using automation tools like CDK and Python.
  • Deploy, Scale, and Automate Global Network: Implement simple, repeatable deployment processes and improve upon existing ones across multiple AWS regions and global POP locations.
  • Collaborate with Automation Teams: Define platforms and frameworks to enable scaling at unprecedented volume.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Develop innovative and creative solutions to design, automate, and scale next-generation network architectures. Work closely with Network/Systems/Software Engineering teams to ensure fast and smooth roll-out of new designs and products.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for learning and growth.
