Account Management Role at COS-AUS

At COS-AUS, a leading Australian private business, an exciting opportunity exists to join our team as a skilled Account Manager. Reporting to the National Sales Manager – Government, this role will manage a portfolio of key head agreements within the Government Division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer-centric strategic partnership plans to protect existing revenue and drive revenue growth through head agreements.
  • Manage head agreement relationships by leading regular sales calls with senior stakeholders to explore pain points and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Engage in key retention activities, including renewing contracts, conducting price reviews, and reviewing spend profiles to optimise range and category compliance.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities to further aggregate sales under the COS model, collaborating with internal teams as needed.
  • Coordinate a seamless customer experience by facilitating interactions between customers and the COS team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and implementing account management strategies for large business customers, with a strong track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Significant experience selling B2B solutions to large business customers, including negotiation and contract management.
  • Understanding of Government processes to effectively navigate and influence change.
  • Deep industry expertise in one or more client industry verticals.
  • Sales discipline knowledge, including sales techniques, account planning, and reporting.
