Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Government Division, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of head agreements and developing key relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement customer-centric strategic partnership plans to prioritize sales effort and maximize revenue growth.
  • Manage head agreement relationships through regular sales calls with senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Engage with head agreements on key retention activities, including contract renewals, price reviews, and spend profile optimization.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities to aggregate sales under the COS model, collaborating with National Government Sales Manager, National Account Directors, and Internal Category Specialists.
  • Deliver seamless customer experiences by coordinating engagement and interaction between customers and the COS team.
  • Document sales and account management activity in CRM to enrich data and inform improvement strategies.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing account management strategies for large business customers with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Significant experience selling B2B solutions to large business customers, including negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of Government processes to effectively navigate and influence change.
  • Deep industry expertise in one or more client industry verticals.
  • Sales discipline knowledge, including sales techniques, account planning, and reporting.
  • Contract management knowledge to effectively manage head agreements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to build long-term trusted advisor relationships with Senior Executive stakeholders and influence them.
  • Strong writing and communication skills to communicate with external and internal customers.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and be in locations for prolonged periods.
