About the Role:

  • Spearhead trading initiatives by developing and maintaining critical components of the electronic trading platform.
  • Implement cutting-edge analytics, monitoring, and reporting services for the electronic trading function using advanced programming skills.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of trading logic and performance criteria to drive implementation of these services to trading and sales teams.
  • Prioritize system performance, reliability, and scalability enhancements using best practices and efficient data handling techniques.
  • E nsure all development adheres to regulatory and internal standards, embedding robust auditability, monitoring, and control mechanisms as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Python with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles; experience with Java or other OO languages is advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of performance, reliability, availability, and testability requirements for software design.
  • Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting production-grade systems.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of taking ownership of projects and deliverables independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Curiosity and desire to learn about financial markets and electronic trading.
