Trade Assistant Role

A part-time opportunity has arisen for a trade assistant to join our retail team in Kelso Store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and replenish stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG)
  • Provide excellent customer service, supporting with queries and offering help proactively
  • Become knowledgeable about products, services, and promotions to offer recommendations
  • Date-check fresh produce and grocery items
  • Assist across the store as needed and support with deliveries when required
Requirements:
  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and thrive in a team setting
  • Takes ownership of tasks and uses initiative to solve problems
  • Flexible and productive working style with a focus on delivering high standards across the store
  • Comfortable learning new digital tools and technology to perform job duties efficiently
  • Meticulous attention to detail, maintaining a clean and organized store environment
About the Role:

This is a fixed-term assignment with a guaranteed number of hours per week. You will be fully trained in various skills, allowing you to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
