Trades Assistant | Bathurst Workshop

About the Role

WesTrac Bathurst is currently seeking a Trades Assistant to support their workshop team.

As a Trades Assistant you will work alongside a team of skilled professionals, assisting with maintenance, repairs and complete overhauls on a range of construction, earthmoving and mining CAT Machinery. Your attention to detail will support a high quality of work being completed, whilst maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

This entry-level position will provide the opportunity to broaden your mechanical skillset and create pathways for career advancement within WesTrac.

Roster & Remuneration

· Monday - Friday Day Roster

· 10.5 hours: 7am-5:30pm

· Hourly rates FROM $32.17 super
*Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience*

Essential Criteria

· Manufacturing or Heavy Industry Experience (Desirable)

· Strong organisation skills and attention to detail

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Valid Driver's license

· A valid HRW Forklift licence is highly desirable

· A strong commitment to safety

· Proficiency in computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office
